Rich is an award-winning cinematographer with more than 15 years of production experience. He has shot documentary, narrative, and broadcast programming for PBS, HBO Documentary Films, MSG Networks, The Food Network, Travel Channel and Canon USA to name a few.

His cinematography credits include the 2012 Emmy®-winning short documentary Hecho a Mano: Creativity in Exile, the 2015 TIFF and Sundance official short documentary selection Papa Machete, and the 2017 Miami Film Festival Audience Choice Award Havana House.

He has filmed in more than 30 countries.  He began his career as a staff photojournalist working for the Miami Herald. Then in 2004 worked as a portrait and editorial photographer for Der Spiegel, New York Times, and the New Yorker. 

Rich is the founder of the production company Four Bent Corners whose clients include: MSG Networks, Canon USA, Lifetime Fitness, the Miami Design District, and RADO watches.

In the beginning of April 2017, Rich discovered his next passion project, "Soldiers of the Sea." This half-hour short documentary film focuses on a 2000-year-old swordfish hunt in the Strait of Messina, Italy, that may become extinct due forces outside of the locals control and EU regulations.
