A recipe for an entertaining meal : heat up a lot of Grease, sprinkle some Nirvana and add a dash of Pearl Jam... cook for 4.5 mins and serve on a bedazzled sequence plate.
Grease's "You're the One That I Want" à la Tragedy, the #1 All-Metal Tribute to the Beegees in the Tri-State Area.
I worked with director Matt Makar on the new Tragedy video on a cold Sunday in February at an elementary school in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. This is our second collaboration with the band. Each time is only surpassed by the last by the elasticity of the spandex set and good vibes on set.
All of the footage in the school and musical performances were created on the SONY FS7 at 4k UHD in S-Log3 (Codec : AVC-I) and stabilized on a steadicam. Matt used the Canon 7D and a lens baby to capture the snowy montage sequence in Ft. Tilden, NY. The piece was cut on Premiere CC and graded using Magic Bullet.
